When I first started this blog, I was meaning to use it to create a web presence for myself professionally. I blogged for an audience, but I ended up never actually writing anything.
Then, I started using it for personal stuff during a really difficult time in my life, which was a mistake because people ended up finding it no matter how hard I tried to hide it, and it caused a bunch of problems.
I went a little too personal and it freaked people out.
Now, I want to combine the two. I’m probably going to use this as less of a journal and more of a place to write about what I’m working o, as well as other things I want to communicate with the world.
I’ve moved from WordPress.com to my self hosted website so I can have full control over everything again in exchange for some some added complexity.
